Style... it's a personal thing
My two little fashionista's are at two ends of the pond. Coco tends to be my hippy dippy. More into bare feet than a pretty shoe. She likes comfort and needs for her skin to breathe. Coco also will favor the look of layers, therefore being able to just peel freely when the mood strikes.
